The Circle of Professional Clairvoyants
Design, produce and dispatch an updated internal A5 8 page magazine to promote the services to their existing database of customers.
Product should be in full colour with professional content covering suitable areas with Business / Careers, Wellbeing, Relationships and Financial Health.
Loyal to this long standing brand, both male and female.
As part of the 2010 re-organisation IAQ Graphic Design was approached to update their existing newsletter. A more modern, cleaner, friendly approach was requested, while still keeping with the four catalogues of their expertise. IAQ Graphic Design have been produced these 8 page A5 magazines in full colour for around four years now. These are also produced in digital format for use on Facebook, Twitter and their own webpage. Part of the service that IAQ Graphic Design offered, was to mail these bi-monthly magazines to their currently customer data-base.
The original newsletter didn’t have a name. IAQ Graphic Design proposed ‘Love & Light’. This has become the one of the greetings in the spiritual community. Here we have the first magazine that IAQ Graphic Design produced for The Circle of Professional Clairvoyants. The format echoed the clients website, by forming articles on Relationships, Wellbeing, Business / Careers and Financial Health.
This was the first of the A5 colour magazines that IAQ Graphic Design produced for The Circle of Professional Clairvoyants. The brief was to keep within the original parameters of the original newsletter, this being the four areas of Relationships, Well-being, Business & Careers and Financial Health.
In this first issue, we covered such topics as; Thought of the Month, Meditation Corner, How to use a Psychic to find love, Aloe Vera, Omega 3 Oils, Gym versus dog walking, Internet diagnosis, a book review on ‘What should I do with my life’ by Po Bronson, a piece regarding the anxiety of money, Automatic Writing and that months horoscopes. Wow… that’s a lot in one issue!
The font of the company logo was continued through the magazine with the titles of the four sectors as well as the titles of the articles. We also produced a back page cover advert in line with the clients advertising campaign.
The second issued rolled off the IAQ Graphic Design presses just a month after the premier issue. We continued with the back page advert and the company logo typography together with the four sector colour banners. We choice a lotus flower for the cover artwork on this issue.
Here we had such content as; Inspire Good Karma, Wedding Season is upon us, how psychic reading can help with grief, finding a job on Twitter, last minute holidays – bargain or bust and can you develop telekinetic powers?
From the July 2010, we adopted a face to the cover of the Love & Light magazine. This being a bohemian, new-age, free spirit of a woman. We tried to keep within the season with all of the cover, which hopefully you will agree…
In this issue we had article such as; how a psychic can help with a break-up, how yogurt can help with dark circles, protecting your eyes from UV rays, how artichokes leave which contain cynarin can help slimming, how liquorice can help with depression, how psychics can help you focus in finding work, savings & home information packs and various client promotions.
Our free spirit women continued through the summer with the great outdoors image. While the contents this month covered; the Griffin of Mythology, how kissing can increase oxytocin levels, the origin of soul mates, loneliness and the elderly. It continued with how meditation can improve your health, benefits at work, a summary of the recent budget and how can you become more spiritual.
In the September issue we started to increase the level of graphics and images within the magazine, including a rather cereal image of a swirling eye on the readers page. This issue including articles on, have you found your soul mate? In continued with the meaning of the death tarot card (you don’t want to be dealt one of them!), reviews on two career books –“‘How to get a job you’ll love” by John Lees and the wonderfully titled “Screw work, let’s play” by John Williams. The issue was wrapped up with, the $64 million dollar question – how money do you need to be happy? and an article on True Psychics.
Now in the Autumn, the October issue started with a rather flamboyant frame to that months special offer. It continued with articles on Halloween Apple Bobbing (complete with the fantastic retro Halloween image), The Laws of Human Attractions and Feng Shui. We then had an article titled Location, Location, Location which I had much fun with the vector based arrows on that page. The Financial Health page took it literately with cost cutting recipes for health benefits – Bubbly Rasilicious Face Mask, Honey Healing Winter Hydration and Grape Facial Cleanser.
While the cover of the November issue is truly spiritual with a lady holding a crystal ball. I can’t help thinking to myself when I now see this cover that the lady is thinking “Now what do I do with it?”
This issue contained articles covering “The Book of Tomorrow” by Cecelia Ahern, Crystal Healing, Working from home… Is it for you? followed by Pensions and Omens.
Our Christmas mystical lady this month models a silver twig. Articles in this month’s issue included; Energy Centres – covering the seven Chakras, How not to overspend this Christmas, a book review on Celtic Maidens by Ceri Norman, Getting your career on track with a psychic reading and the Winter Solstice.
I particularly like the cover image on this issue. While being bang on the nose for the time of the season, the image captures the reader. The issue cover such areas are; A New Year wish to the readers (with a magical vector graphic), Using psychic healing for health and well-being in the new year, Know your consumer rights and Loneliness; a modern phenomenon? It continued with an article called Unleash the psychic in you: How to trust your intuition for successful decision making, and a final article; Is it possible to communicate with the deceased? (with a wonderful background image).
With this issue we tried to make it ‘Love’ themed with Valentine’s Day being during the month. The cover was around the limit of being sexy without being provocative. Inside the issue we covered; Cooking with love, a book review on ‘The Secret Currency of Love’ by Hilary Black, Forecasting your love life in 2011, Do you love the job you’re in? and finally an article called ‘Eyes – the window of the soul’.
Moving now into spring with a great daffodil meadow front cover. The issue contains such articles as; 5 a day / 8 a day Good advice or just a well intentioned myth? Followed by ‘Can’t take it with you…’, Understanding Astrology and the impact it has on our relationships, Can you and your career make a new start abroad? – following the TV programmes of which Phil Spencer and Jonny Irwin helped to find Brits homes abroad. We tied up the issue with an article on reincarnation.

During this period the issues became bi-monthly (now is that, every other month or twice a month?!) This issue contained articles on Holistic Healing, Is your job keeping you awake at night?, 2012 Olympics – run for your tickets now! and finally, A Date with Destiny (which contained this fabulous black and white image).
June / July 2011
Another one of my favourite covers of IAQ Graphic Design produced Love & Light magazine. This image sums up the genre and the time of the year completely. It contained articles on The Third Eye, ‘Hay Fever Season is upon us’, the Summer Solstice – with a great sunset image over Stonehenge, Career Counselling for all ages, 6 ways to boast your pension, Is your relationship suffering from ‘Over Togetherness’? and finally a piece on Remote Viewing – which included this supernatural image.
August / September 2011
The cover of this issue featured a lady with captivating eyes. She if you agree? Inside we covered; Sand Readings, a book review of ‘Men, Money & Chocolate’ by Menna Van Pragg. We continued with a double page article on the History of Astrology and another on World Cuisine – which I must admit, I had great ‘fun with flags!’

In to the dark months with this caped women cover. This month we featured, The relationship between you and your psychic, The link between money and depression, a book review on the ‘Urban Worrier’ by Nick Thorpe and finally, and a piece called The Theory of Fate. I was particularly pleased with the graphic that I created for this page.

This issue was brought to us by a truly bohemian cover. We then had an article on Love – with a typography based graphic. This covered Letting Go…., Famous Love Quotes and It’s all in a sign! This was followed up with What does Spiritually mean to you? And the Ultimate Rabbits Foot.
August / September 2012
Towards August with such topics as Topaz (with an image that almost pops off the page) , Exploring Scrying, dates of events surrounding the 2012 Paralympics and Romance at the Picnic, a Guide to I-Ching and snippets covering a book review of ‘Heart Thoughts’ by Louise Hay, Healthy Food in the season of September, and are you your worst enemy?
October / November 2012
No prizes for guessing the period covered in this issue of Love & Light Magazine. Inside we promoted the new EasyPay service for the client with this great typography arrangement. We also covered, Spells and Witchcraft, Halloween Goodies – with Halloween Ghoulish Ghost Cakes and Pumpkin Soup. We continued with The Cause and Effect of Karma, a book review on ‘The Magic of Reality’ by Richard Dawkins and a piece on Labradorite (nothing to do the dog!)
December 2012 / January 2013
This has got to be my favourite cover that IAQ Graphic Design produced for Love & Light. It sums up the period totally and really captivates the audience with an image that fills the cover. We produced articles inside on the client’s EasyPay service, two Christmas related topics – Kissing Balls and Glogg, a type of Mulled Wine. We then had Psychic Illusions – click on the circle to view the full screen page – considering that this was also printed – is it me or are the circles rotating? This followed with Decipher Your Dreams, and a double page spread on Relationship Compatibility in 2013. How do you your partner match up?
February / March 2013
The final Love & Light Magazine that IAQ Graphic Design produced at the time was this image packed issue. In covered Imbolc – a Celtic festival, Relationship Readings (complete with this great butterfly heart vector graphic)and Boost your confidence with a Clairvoyant reading.
